We hear so much about the wavering economy, people losing their jobs, their homes and their peace. One of the many, many blessings we have as Military Families is that we have long term job security and a guaranteed paycheck that we can always count on come the first of the month (and mid month if you elect). We have the great security that we will not have missed hours for sick days, vacation time or cutback hours. Our families are blessed with the full amount, guaranteed, on the same day every month no matter what else is going on in the world. No matter where we are, no matter if we are at home or on vacation, we are blessed to know that on payday, our hard earned check has been direct deposited into our bank accounts. We can plan our lives, our bills, our vacations around this. We are even fortunate enough to be able to have allotments to pay our bills or to put away money into savings. We do not have to wait until after 5:00 on payday to receive our paychecks. Or wait until the next day-in line at the bank to deposit them. Or wait for the funds to be available and in some cases hope the paycheck clears. No, we have been blessed with our "guaranteed amount, direct deposited, funds immediately available" paychecks thanks to the United States Military. I for one feel blessed. I hope that you will count this among your list of blessings in your Military Life!
Remember not to be so busy making a living, that you forget to make and "enjoy" your Military Life!
